In the January 2015 edition of Connecticut Magazine, local food experts and readers chose Feng Asian Bistro as the “Best Asian” food eatery. These experts range from veteran restaurant critics and food writers to contemporary bloggers who track the trends—and hottest, newest places—along with cookbook authors and even a former restaurant owner.
We are delighted to share the results of both those surveys, and even more excited to try and get out to visit all these terrific eateries ourselves in the year ahead. Enjoy!
Worcester is already a city of restaurant groups. Some of the city’s most recognized names in dining — The Sole Proprietor and Bocado, for example — are run by the Worcester Restaurant Group and Niche Hospitality, respectively.
A step into Feng Asian Bistro is a step into another dimension. Backlit wood paneling and dining areas faced with thin layers of stone veneer are illuminated by a sophisticated lighting system. Feng is divided into sections with distinctly different dining-review-feng-sign-copytemperaments: an Hibachi room that plays host to boisterous celebrations, peaceful dining areas, a sleekly gleaming bar and the main dining room which is anchored by a sushi bar backed by full wall of scarlet molded paisley.
